The Dry Kings Team had the petal to the metal all year long in 2020 and 2021 is keeping the pace up! To reward our fantastic and dedicated team it was time to relax and go fishing! We loaded up the boat, chartered from Golden Gate Sportfishing, and went searching for one of the “dinosaurs” of the deep, sturgeon.  Although we have some experienced fishermen on the DK Team, reeling in sturgeon was no easy task, and seeing bites was near impossible for us. Luckily for us, our captain and deckhand knew exactly where to go, what they were doing, and reacted unbelievably quick to bites.

After catching and releasing undersized and oversized sturgeon we thought our day on the water was done, but! As we were about to return to the marina, a super-sized sturgeon took the bait, and the chase was on! The whole team took a turn trying to reel in this big fish, but it was not trying to be caught! We let him run and the captain chased him down, but we literally could not feel our arms anymore and ultimately, we had to cut the line. Everyone could not believe the size of this sturgeon once it was close enough to the boat to see it.  We were not exactly too sad about losing that one! The DK Team thoroughly enjoyed our day in the California Delta watching for bites, learning tips and tricks, and sharing laughs.
