In our line of work, we commonly use a machine called a hydroxyl generator. This machine is known to kill microorganisms in the air and is safe to use in-door where people are present. As a summary Odorox Hydroxyl generators are using the same broad range of UV radiation as the sun to naturally clean and deodorize indoor environments. The purpose is to disinfect the air from bacteria, viruses, mold and odor. Hydroxyls are safe, naturally occurring molecules. The hydroxyl process is the same process that happens in the outdoors when the ultraviolet rays of the sun react with oxygen and water vapor.
